Be sure to include your name and Sundance address in the memo section.
Lake fees are a maintenance fee that go towards daily park operations, events, staffing, capital projects, the upkeep of 9 community flower beds, 5 lake access points and contribution to the asset lifecycle study for replacement of aging capital assets.
MEMBERSHIP
A "member" is the homeowner(s) and/or their spouse and their unmarried children* who are living at the residence. *Please refer to the Stats Canada website for the definition of a "child".
In cases where the house is a rental property, the homeowner can keep the lake privileges for themselves, or the homeowner has the option to transfer their privileges to one leaseholder, their spouse, and their unmarried children living in the home. The lease must be for a minimum of 3 months. Homeowners and renters will not both be issued cards.
Each member will be issued a personalized, non-transferable membership card. Replacement cards are $5 (cards more than 3 years old are free).
Each member must present a valid membership card to access the lake.
Qualifying children living at home that are 21 years of age or older will be required to provide one piece of Government issued photo ID (Driver's license or AB ID card) with the Sundance address once per year before their membership card will be updated.
"Additional Member" cards can be issued to other residents of the household for an additional fee of $75+gst per year. Please call the office for details.
Membership cards are the property of the Residents Association and must be returned if the cardholder breaches the rules.
Lake Sundance does not provide supervision or lifeguards for lake/park use. Guardians are responsible for children at all time. Members and their guests use the facilities at their own risk.
