Membership & Fees
2021-2022 LAKE FEES
Invoices for fees for July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 have now been sent out, either by Canada Post or by email.
Fees can be paid by cheque, debit or e-Transfer (send to email@example.com. Please be sure to include your name and address in the message section of the e-Transfer).
As of July 2, 2021, all fees owing must be paid in full before members will be able to access the park.
2020-2021 LAKE FEES
Fees for the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 must be paid in full by June 30, 2021 or the outstanding account will be sent to our lawyer for collection. All costs associated with collection will be assessed against the homeowner.
An encumbrance is registered against the Certificate of Title of the homeowner - lake fees are mandatory. Lake fees for most homes are $249.25 per year. Fees for homes on lake accesses are $312.99 and lake front homes are $339.50 per year.
The encumbrance fees are due on July 1st of every year and are payable to the Sundance Lake Residents Association. They may be paid by mail, by e-transfer, or can be paid directly at the main gate office. Methods of payment accepted: Debit, Cheque or E-Transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include your name and Sundance address in the memo section.
A "member" is the homeowner(s) and/or their spouse and their unmarried children* who are living at the residence. *Please refer to the Stats Canada website for the definition of a "child".
Each member will be issued a personal, non-transferable membership card. Cards must be validated each year after the annual fees have been paid.
Each member must present a valid membership card to access the lake.
"Additional Member" cards can be issued to other residents of the household for an additional fee of $60+gst per year. Please call the office for details.
Membership cards are the property of the Residents Association and must be returned if the cardholder breaches the rules.

ISSUANCE OF LAKE CARDS
The procedure for obtaining lake cards is:
Registered Owners: Please bring in a copy of your Certificate of Title to the main gate office along with the completed membership application form.
Renters: Please bring in the completed membership application form. We will also require a letter from the owner indicating that he/she transfers their lake privileges to their tenants. Click here for a copy of the Transfer of Privileges to Tenants form.
**It may take a week or two to receive the title or letter of consent. Once an application has been completed and returned to the office, residents may be granted access to the park but will have restricted privileges. Please call the office for more details.
It may be necessary to wait one business day in order for the application to be processed. After that, the family may come in for pictures at any time during park hours.
Qualifying children living at home that are 21 years of age or older will be required to provide one piece of Government issued photo ID (Driver's license or AB ID card) with the Sundance address on it before their membership card will be issued or updated.
Lake cards will be reissued every 3 years. If cards are lost or damaged, residents will be charged $5.00 for replacement.
