Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt

Lake Sundance is excited to present the community with a Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt for kids aged 0 – 99! This event will begin at 1pm on October 16th, and will run until 6pm on October 24th. Scavenger hunt forms will be available at the lake office.

Halloween themed items have been hidden throughout the park (all outdoors). Record the “names” of the items on your scavenger hunt form and then turn in your form at the office to enter into our prize draw. Don’t worry if you can’t find all of the items – you can still enter the draw 😊. Winners will be notified by October 27th.

Additional prizes will be awarded for the following challenges:

  • How good are you? Did you find ALL of the named items hidden in the park? To keep this more interesting, we are not disclosing the number of items hidden.

  • We have hidden a plastic pumpkin in the park somewhere. Beware – this item will be moved on a daily basis to make it more of a challenge to find it! Take your picture with this pumpkin and show it to staff when you turn in your form.

  • Take a selfie with our Halloween décor and post it on Facebook using the hashtag #Sundancepumpkinhunt2021

We kindly ask that you bring your own pen or pencil. Entries will be limited to one per member. Members may have a maximum of 2 guests per household participate in this event. Please remember that masks are required in all indoor areas (washrooms, office).

Happy Hunting!

Volunteers Needed to Help with Events

Our Social Committee is working hard to bring some new and entertaining events to our lake, but some of our future events are ambitious and will require a "network of community volunteers" to make them a success. Your involvement in our community events is critical! If you or someone in your family can volunteer a little bit of time during these events please send an email to office@lakesundance.org. Signing up to be part of our "network" does not mean you are committed to helping out for a given event. It just means that your name will be in our volunteer bank, and if we are in need of volunteers then you will receive notice of what is happening and what we need. Volunteering is completely optional. Volunteers that donate a minimum of 5 hours of their time per year will be invited to "Volunteer Appreciation Night". Thank you in advance from the Social Committee!!
