The lower level of the Sundance Lodge has 2 multi-purpose rooms that are available for members to rent. They are suitable for small meetings, birthday parties, skating parties, etc. To inquire about reserving a room, please contact us at 403-256-4728 or office@lakesundance.org.

Renting the multi-purpose rooms includes access into the park. Please note that guest registration is required.
All renters are required to submit a decoration plan 1 week prior to their event.
Here is a brief summary; for a more complete list please see the "Multi-Purpose Room Decoration Guidelines" (to be uploaded shortly or also available from the lake office).
No open flames, fog or smoke producing machines, or sparklers. This includes candles. As an alternative, battery-operated candles are permitted. Traditional candles may be used outside of the building. Please also see FAQ on chafing dishes.
No smoke bombs, glitter, dry ice, confetti, or bubbles.
Decorations may not be attached to the ceiling or light fixtures.
Absolutely no scotch tape, duct tape, double-sided tape, 3M hooks/tape, masking tape, nails, tacks, staples or any sharp-ended materials may be used on, or inserted into, any surfaces inside or outside the building. Painters tape and freestanding structures are allowed.
There is no access to a kitchen. However, members are welcome to bring in outside food. Cooking is not permitted in the Multi-Purpose rooms.
Chafing dishes that are warmed with a methanol gel fuel (which is smokeless) are permitted. Tea lights/candles cannot be used to heat chaffing dishes.
The single room has two 6-foot rectangular tables, two 8-foot rectangular tables, and 20 chairs.
The double room has four 6-foot rectangular tables, four 8-foot rectangular tables, and 40 chairs.
These props are not permitted to be utilized in our space
Alcohol is not permitted within the park, including during rentals of the multi-purpose rooms. The park's no-alcohol policy remains in effect.
Cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, wiping down and putting away tables and chairs, securing garbage, and remove all personal belongings.
Lake Sundance follows a strict no animal policy. The safety for our members, guests, staff and park wildlife are our number one priority. Certified service animals are an exception to the policy and are welcome at our facility. Emotional support animals are not permitted.
Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. No holds will be accepted without a signed and completed rental agreement.
Members may book the room up to 12 months in advance.
Bookings may only be made in-person during regular office hours.
Renters will be charged a non-refundable booking fee of $15.00, this fee will be applied to the rental.
Rental charges must be paid in full at least 1 month prior to the event date.
Methods of payment accepted: debits, e-Transfer, or cheque. Sorry. we do NOT accept credit cards.
No changes in the date or rescheduling of an event will be accepted less than 1 month prior to the event date.
Any changes less than 1 month prior to the event date will be considered a cancellation, requiring a new booking and the applicable booking fee charged.
A damage deposit of $100 is required 1 month prior to your event. Provided there are no damages, your deposit will be returned to you by cheque 10-14 days after the event. It can be picked up in the lake office or mailed to you.
