Hi Sundance Lake Residents,

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 government and health regulations and guidelines and park attendance. The safety of our employees, members and guests is paramount. A positive lake experience is also a top priority.

We are now in Stage 3 of Alberta’s Open For Summer Plan. We will continue our enhanced cleaning program. Please remember that during Stage 3, there is a relaxing of many restrictions but wearing face masks indoors continues to be a City of Calgary bylaw until at least July 5th. During Stage 3, there are no beach/park capacity limits.

We are pleased to announce a modified park admission policy, effective July 1st:

Adult members can bring up to 6 guests/household/day

Junior members under 18 yrs of age can sign in up to 3 guests.

Our summer entrance will open July 1st

There has been an increase in members not bringing their lake card. Reminder: no card, no access. Staff will be asked to enforce this rule to prevent unauthorized access and ensure exclusive access for only our members and accompanied guests.

At this time, we are not ready to offer life jacket or sport equipment rentals.

We are hopeful that a phased approach to our complete reopening will make for a comfortable but accommodating transition for our valued members and employees.

We will continue to assess the situation and will modify entrance requirements and usage of amenities as appropriate. Please check www.lakesundance.org for updates before your visit.

Thank you for your patience and support and we hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Regards,

Sundance Lake Board of Directors and Management
