Annual General Meeting 

Notice of 2026 Annual General Meeting

On behalf of the Board of Directors we wish to advise that the Annual General Meeting will be held on:

         Date:           Wednesday, November 4, 2026

         Location:     Sundance Lake Residents Association Ltd. - Banquet Hall

                             63 Suncrest Way S.E., Calgary

         Time:          7:00 p.m.

                        Registration opens at 6:15 p.m 

The AGM provides members with an opportunity to receive updates on the Association, review Association business, elect members to the Board of Directors, and participate in matters brought before the membership.

AGM Attendance

The Annual General Meeting is open to SLRA members in good standing only.

Members attending the AGM must bring their valid Sundance Lake membership card for verification and check-in. Please ensure you have your membership card with you when you arrive, as it will be required to attend and participate in the meeting.

Can’t Attend the AGM? You Can Vote by Proxy

If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, a proxy allows you to authorize another eligible person to vote on your behalf at the meeting.

Proxy voting helps ensure that members who cannot attend in person still have an opportunity to participate in the voting process.

Members wishing to appoint a proxy must use the official SLRA Proxy Form provided by the Association (link is below). No other form of proxy will be accepted. Please ensure the form is completed in full. 

Official proxy forms will be added to this site on Monday, October 5, 2026.

Interested in Joining the Board of Directors?

Members interested in running for a position on the Sundance Lake Residents Association Board of Directors are invited to submit a one-page candidate bio and/or platform for inclusion in the AGM presentation.

Submitting a bio/platform is completely optional and provides candidates with an opportunity to introduce themselves to the membership, share their background and experience, explain why they are interested in serving on the Board, and outline what they hope to contribute. Candidates who wish to participate are asked to submit their one-page bio/platform to the SLRA office (office@lakesundance.org) by Monday, November 2, 2026. Candidates are still welcome to run for the Board whether or not they choose to submit a bio/platform.
